Dear Stranger,
We are The Art Writers, MA, MArt and PhD Fine Art students thinking about Art Writing/Writing Art. We have been examining who our audience is, thinking about addressing strange, unwanted and unanticipated audiences. We have been sneaking around and writing anonymously, this blog is a part of that. Each week we will post extracts of a text we are currently working on, interpretations of the Transmission lecture, our university’s visiting Fine Art lecture series. We are considering the relationships between critical, historical and theoretical styles of writing within our individual fine art practices and hope to share some of our thoughts with you and each other right here.
